About Us

Urban Tails Pet Grooming Co. is a new business, but their groomers are not new to the doggy doo scene.  Kassie has been making dogs beautiful since 2009.  She has managed many successful grooming salons, and after years of consideration, decided to open her own. Kassie and her family-like team of groomers are excited to meet you and your fur-baby, while giving them the same treatment they would give their own. Every dog is different and they deserve to be treated in a way that compliments their personality as well as their needs. Animals are our kids and in some cases our only kids!  Our intention is to give your pets the one-on-one attention they need and deserve. Grooming can be a traumatic and stressful situation to a timid pup and they need to be in an atmosphere that will take the time to tend to their concerns. We want to establish bonds that will last a lifetime. 

Tera and Kassie met in 2017 when Tera began her bathing career. She is now in her second year of grooming. Tera is a natural when it comes to grooming any size dog and breed. Her heart lies with large breeds, but she is great with any size fur baby. She has 3 dogs of her own. 2 Pomeranians, Squirrel & Peanut. And a German Shephard name Logan. You may also find her playing with her Chinchillas, Sugar gliders and her Sulcata Tortoise. Tera is also very talented in crafting. There is nothing she cannot design or make! Nina and Kassie began to share their love of animals over 17 years ago. She is now in her fourth year of grooming and has a natural talent.  While most of the time you will see her loving on a pup, her heart belongs to the felines. In 2021 Nina became Urban Tails Manager. Her hard work and dedication show through every day. We don't know what we'd do without her hard work and expertise. Nina has 4 furry babies of her own. Sassy is her beautiful Poodle mix and her cats: Birdie, Spike & Laya.

Jennifer and Kassie began to share their love of animals when they were just little girls in 1999. Jennifer is in her second year of bathing and in 2021 was promoted to Bathing Manager. She loves all of our shedding friends! She gives the best de-shed in Kenosha county! She is great at training and helps to make our shop run smoothly. We thank her for taking care of our bathing room and inventory in order to give all of our clients the best products possible!

Amy and Kassie met while opening a new grooming salon in 2009.  Amy has been grooming for 11 years. Her love for dogs has been lifelong and shows in her work. Amy has experience handling and caring for a variety of dogs with different personalities and behaviors. She shows every dog the patience and understanding they need during their grooming process. Amy is a mom to a 5 year old little girl named Anneliese. She also has a Pitbull named, Simon, and two cats named Baby Yoda and Clover. She is looking forward to caring for your furry family member!

Sabrina joined the Urban Tails Family in July of 2021. She has been in customer service for many years. She will be the one to greet you when you call. Of course we ask for your patience as she has never booked grooming appointments. She also assists all of the staff with anything they need. She also keeps the salon clean throughout the day. Sabrina loves animals and has a beautiful American Bully named Enzo!
